Together with WaterAid UK CEO Barbara Frost, WaterAid America CEO, Sarina Prabasi has been named by FORTUNE magazine and Food & Wine as one of the ‘most innovative women in food and drink’.

"I am incredibly proud of the work we do at WaterAid, and am honored to be at the helm of an organization that is truly transforming lives," says Sarina.

"Day in and day out, we are proving that, together, clean water, toilets and hygiene are the essential ingredients for a world where girls are able to attend and stay in school, women have the time to start and run small businesses, and half of the world's hospital beds are no longer filled by people suffering from preventable water-related diseases."

WaterAid America CEO Sarina Prabasi (center) meets with women outside of Bilwi, Nicaragua who have learned how to fix and repair wells and latrines as part of WaterAid’s tailor-made vocational training programs.
