Liquid gold
Set in Tanzania in East Africa, this film explores some of the social and financial benefits
clean water and sanitation can bring to a community. As sickness is reduced, people spend
less money on medicine. Shorter water collection times mean women are able to engage
in productive work and girls can spend more time in school. As a result, poverty is reduced.
