We help local organizations and communities in the countries we work in to become empowered and active in the planning and implementation of our projects and as such
WaterAid does not offer volunteer opportunities for overseas placements.
WaterAid has offices based in Manhattan in New York and in Washington, DC. If you are able to make a regular commitment to coming to our offices you could make a huge difference to what our team is able to achieve. Details of office volunteer roles are below.
Office support volunteer, New York
The WaterAid office is based in central Manhattan and needs office support to help raise awareness and funds for WaterAid's work worldwide. We are looking for someone with a friendly telephone manner and good writing skills. You should be able to make a regular commitment of at least five hours a week for at least a month, and examples of the tasks involved are:

responding to inquiries and donations

data entry

telephone and web-based research

assisting with organizing events

writing letters and sending out information

writing small articles and reports
