In a nationwide effort, TestAmerica employees have participated in various company-wide fundraising events to support WaterAid.

TestAmerica employees have been active with WaterAid for many years, helping to raise awareness about the need for safe water and sanitation and providing thousands of dollars in financial support. This year, they raised a record $20,000, doubling the amount raised last year.
The fundraising events were held at 29 locations across the country in July 2009. The events ranged from raffles, silent auctions, and bake sales to sales of inventory no longer needed by the company.
Scott Morris raised the highest sum, $1,840, by taking part in a sponsored ultra marathon in the Lake District in the UK, covering 50 miles including more than 20,000 feet of ascent.
For the fourth year running the Tampa lab was the winner of the fundraising campaign, raising $24.60 per person, raising a total of $1,230 or $24.60 per person. As a reward, the Tampa employees won a makeover of their employee break room, including a new dishwasher, convection oven, and microwave.
The company-wide events also raised more than $3,700 for 19 local charities in 15 states.
