Join us in helping improve access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities by telling us of your connection to someone living without water or sanitation or by simply selecting WaterAid as one of your causes on your My Causes page at megree.com.
megree is hosting an exclusive online gallery of The Burden of Thirst through October 18.
The exhibition presents communities in the Oromia and Konso regions of Ethiopia that have reliable access to clean water for the first time in their lives thanks to WaterAid, along with dramatic images of women’s daily struggles to fetch water across barren landscapes in Kenya and Tanzania.
Everyone who makes a donation to WaterAid on megree.com will be entered into a drawing that will allow them a chance to win a signed photograph.
The winner will be announced on October 20, 2010.
Speaking of the megree and WaterAid partnership, Eric Broyles, CEO and Founder of megree explains, "It occurred to us that if we could show how everyone on the world is socially connected to each other, it probably will make us more likely to help eachother."

megree is a social media tool that is capable of showing how you are connected to anyone in the world.
megree initially is focused on empowering non-profit and humanitarian organizations to show their donors and volunteers how they are personally connected to the people they help.
It occurred to us that if we could show how everyone in the world is socially connected to each other, it probably will make us more likely to help each other.
