Children of all ages are some of our most enthusiastic supporters. Whether raising awareness throughout their schools or after school programs, children and young people are successful because they have a built-in audience – their friends and classmates!

River Oaks Elementary School
After learning about water in the classroom, second grade students from River Oaks Elementary School in Houston, Texas took part in a Water Day to raise awareness of the water crisis and funds for WaterAid America.
They were sponsored by families and friends to walk laps of the school sports field carrying water containers to a well, and then repeating the journey with the full containers.

The British International School of New York
Twelve inspired fourth grade students and one dedicated teacher from
the British International School in New York decided to make a
difference and raise awareness of world water issues by conducting a
three mile walk from their classroom to Rockefeller Center, raising
$376 for WaterAid along the way.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Troop 3203
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Troop 3203 showed their concern for others around the
world by marking Girl Scout World Thinking Day with a sponsored fun walk that
raised more than $1,300.
