WaterAid America joins InterAction
WaterAid America is delighted to have become a member of InterAction, the largest coalition of US-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) focused on the world’s poor and most vulnerable people.
Joining Interaction will enable WaterAid America to increase its efforts to convince policy-makers in Washington of the value in more actively addressing the global water and sanitation crisis.
More broadly, WaterAid also looks forward to increasing its contributions to the important policy debates currently taking place about revamping and strengthening US foreign assistance programs.
WaterAid consistently calls on all key players involved in water and sanitation services for the poor to adopt a more unified approach in order to maximize the effectiveness of the sector as a whole. Membership of InterAction will prove valuable in achieving this goal in the US.
