Vote for WaterAid through Chase Community Giving
WaterAid has been nominated as part of
Chase Community Giving, which was created by J.P. Morgan Chase Bank to put the power of giving in the hands and hearts of the communities. Chase Community Giving has awarded over $20 million to over 500 charities since 2009.
This year, Chase will award the top 196 charities with the most votes grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000. Voting takes place between September 6 and September 19, and grant recipients will be announced on September 20.
Here's how it works:
Facebook users who allow "access" to the Chase Community Giving application will receive two votes on the Chase Community Giving application on Facebook
. Each vote must be cast for different charities.
Chase customers are eligible to access two more votes on the Chase Giving website in addition to their two votes on Facebook. Those votes must also be cast for two separate charities.
Facebook users can earn one bonus vote by allowing "access" and sharing any content from the Chase Community Giving application to his/her Facebook newsfeed or timeline. If one of your Facebook Friends links back to the Chase Community Giving Application and casts a vote, you will earn an additional vote, which can also be used for WaterAid! Your additional vote will be displayed both in the header as well as in the "apps and games" link.
