R Steven Maxwell and Jim Thebaut elected to Board of Trustees
New York, NY – WaterAid announced today the election of new US board members Mr.
R Steven Maxwell and Mr. Jim Thebaut. The election took place at a board meeting on December 16, 2009.
Steve Maxwell and Jim Thebaut began their tenure as Trustees on January 1, 2010.
We are very pleased to welcome two new distinguished members to the Board of WaterAid in America.
Gregory Hodkinson, Chair, WaterAid in America

R Steven Maxwell
Mr. Maxwell has 25 years of experience in the
environmental and resource management fields. In 1992 he formed TechKNOWLEDGEy Strategic Group (TSG) to
provide consulting and advisory services to the environmental and water
resource industries.
Mr. Maxwell
has also built a leading specialized investment banking practice in the
environmental industry, representing various industry players in merger and acquisition transactions. He is the
author of numerous reports and books on the environmental business and
is a contributing editor to
several leading environmental journals.

Jim Thebaut
Mr. Thebaut has more than 30 years of experience in establishing and
administrating nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporations with the purpose of
documenting and reaching mass audiences with visual communications
about issues critical to the planet and human survival.
Since 1998 Mr. Thebaut
has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Executive Producer
of the Chronicles Group, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing
visual and educational records for general public viewing of profound
issues facing the 21st Century. His productions include
Running Dry,
a public information and educational film to motivate awareness and
right action related to the global water crisis.
